Have you been wondering exactly how much does a Sprinter van conversion cost? Then you’re in the right place!

This spreadsheet provides details on every single item we purchased for our van build, and was updated daily during our van build from receipts. We used this spreadsheet to ensure we were on track with our budget throughout the build, and to see exactly how much each part of the build cost us, down to the penny!

How To Use The Spreadsheet

You can change tabs by scrolling down and selecting the blue links for “Summary”, “Van Build Costs”, “Monthly Costs”, “Savings”, or “Free Stuff” to see more details on the information presented on the summary page. There are scroll bars to scroll horizontally and vertically on the bottom and the right of the spreadsheet.

  1. After watching your walkthrough, I’d love to see where you sourced some of your purchased items. In particular, I’m interested in the backup camera/motion detection thingey (not an engineer OR scientist) you described on the completion YouTube video. (And it display on your rearview mirror??! Amazing!). Where can I get this techno-wonder without blowing the entire budget?

    1. Hi Barbara, we have a VanTop backup camera and dashcam which cost us about $75 on Amazon, and it displays the video from the rear camera on the “rearview mirror” that is mounted in the cab.
